Having just returned from my 14th trip to Uganda, it was another amazing time of ministry with my friend and co-worker, Pastor Fred Muyimba. During my visit, we were able to host a leadership conference in his church located in the capital city of Kampala. After the conference, we were able to visit 11 churches in the western part of Uganda. Empty Tomb Ministries, through a campaign called, “Bucks for Bricks,” is helping six different churches build new buildings. The picture above is one of those churches. Pastor Avis and her team have been working very hard; God has given them a big vision and they are seeing it become a reality right before their eyes. If you look closely at the left side of the picture, you will see their old church. Just to the right of the old building you will see a massive pile of bricks; they have made these bricks by hand and are using them for the new church, located on the right side of the photo. In the villages of Uganda, the people have so little and yet they are so rich in their love and heart to serve God. You can learn more about our Bucks for Bricks campaign here.
You can make a difference, a difference that can impact the lives of people for all eternity. God has given Empty Tomb Ministries a world vision. The God of the Universe has opened an amazing door and through that door is a really big opportunity. It is an opportunity for you and me to be a part of something much bigger than ourselves.
